PuTTY Web Installer

This file will download and install PuTTY (a free SSH/telnet replacement for Windows). When asked what to do, choose Open/click yes. Note that it will always install the latest version of PuTTY and the associated files available from the PuTTY site at http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/. It also creates start menu icons and has an uninstaller.

You can rerun this installer in future to upgrade your PuTTY to the latest version automatically!

2008 Update

You should really use the one supplied by the official site:-

This is current and will probably remain current.  Whilst my installer seems to still work it has been many years now since it was created.
